About
I am a critical race feminist sociologist. My research and teaching interests include families, gender, race/ethnicity, Asian and Asian Americans, immigration and transnationalism, power, intersectionality (the matrix of gender, race, and class inequalities), feminist theories and methods, and qualitative interview methods. I teach graduate and undergraduate courses on social inequality (e.g., oppression) and family diversity.
